How to add a cottage feel to your home.

 

I love the feel of a cottage home. It's taken me time but I'm finding bits and pieces to give our home a cottage chic feeling with our own story. When your away from any large amounts of water you need to be creative. Here are a few ideas to help create a cottage home. Colors pale blues, greens, whites, pictures of your family at the lake, bedding or a throw for the sofa, drift wood, white hard wood, sea shells and painted furniture are just a few thing that will help pull the cottage feel into your home.
